Beautiful Bay View Site at Mission Bay RV Resort

Mission Bay RV Resort

For one month we treated ourselves to a Bay View site at Mission Bay RV Resort in San Diego, California and that site did not disappoint. I didn’t realize how beautiful sunsets could be over the water. I appreciated each day that I was able to look out at the bay from our bed. I never understood why having a view was so such a big deal until for one month from one little window I had the privilege of watching the day and the ducks and then the night and the lights. Don’t have time to read this now? Pin it for later!

Penguin made friends with a squirrel and then that friend would not leave him alone. Anytime we were outside he would beg for food. We ate outside, had friends over for cocktails at sunset, campfires in the evening, and took naps in the hammock. It was an amazing month. We don’t own a fire pit but fortunately Mission Bay rents fire pits and they sell firewood. Both will be delivered to your site.

Location

Mission Bay RV Resort is in a great location for exploring San Diego and the beaches. Eight miles to the world-famous San Diego Zoo (most visited zoo in the United States), five miles to SeaWorld, five miles to Ocean Beach, and five miles to Belmont Park and Mission Beach.

No matter what site type you go with you are only a short walk to the water to watch the sunset but if you can splurge do it and get yourself a Bay View site. You won’t be disappointed. We highly recommend Mission Bay RV Resort.
