Spring-Summer 2026 in Morro Bay, CA Photo Blog

We had such a great time in Morro Bay last year that we decided to stay from April through August this year! Since we are here for such an extended stay, we have had to move a few times, so we stayed at Cypress Morro Bay RV Park, Bay Pines Travel Trailer Park, Morro Strand State Beach Campground, and Morro Bay State Park.

We’ve done a lot while we’ve been here, so here are some of our favorite moments: Penguin enjoying some hammock time with Tinkerbell, walking to the Embarcadero and the beach, an oyster and wine pairing at Absolution, checking out the sea lions, 4th of July in the park, dinner at Dorn’s Breakers Cafe, cocktails at the Madonna Inn, a family friend’s wedding, enjoying the beach view from our motorhome at Morro Strand State Beach Campground, and barbecuing some fresh local oysters.
