Olympic National Park to Bend, OR by RV
Our route took us around Olympic National Park, through Portland, past Mount Hood, and ended in Bend, Oregon. Where did we stay and what fun did we have? Highlights included two great boondocking spots and unique things to do in Bend. Don’t have time to read this now?

Route from Olympic National Park to Bend, OR
- Port Angeles, WA: Walmart Supercenter - FREE overnight RV parking

- Port Angeles, WA: Sol Duc Campground
- Beautiful campground deep in the forest. Highly recommended, but be warned the one-way road through the campground is very narrow, has a few tight turns, and a 35’ motorhome limit.
- $22.80/night and had no hookups. There was a dump near the campground, but it was an additional fee.

- Sappho, WA: Forest Road 29
- Awesome FREE RV boondocking. Highly recommended!
- Forks, WA: Bogachiel State Park
- Cute state park. Great spot to explore the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park.
- $35/night for a site with water and electricity. The dump was at the entrance of the campground.
- Chehalis, WA: Boondockers Welcome host
- Great host with hookups.
- Portland, OR:

- FREE RV boondocking but Sno Park permit required November 1 - April 30.
- Cold and windy in late October.

- Nice FREE RV boondocking.

- Nice RV park, great amenities, and huge brick pads with storage shed. Highly recommended.
